概要 / Summary

「竹集成材構造モデルプロジェクト」は、放置竹林問題の解決と脱炭素社会の実現、地方創生に繋げる地域資源の活用を目的に、竹集成材を構造材として活用し、建築をつくる取り組みです。竹の高い強度と成長の早さに着目し、竹集成材を構造材として活用したモデルプロジェクトにて国内で初めて性能評価書を取得しました。実プロジェクトの実施が決まれば、建築基準法第20条による国土交通大臣認定を受けることで、竹を構造材とした建築が出来ることになります。竹の強度を活かせば小さな部材でも成り立つ事が出来るので、このプロジェクトでは小さな部材を組み合わせる事で建築を作り出すシステムを発案しました。

The “Bamboo Laminated Timber Structural Model Project” is an initiative to construct buildings using bamboo laminated timber as structural material. Its objectives are to address the problem of abandoned bamboo forests, contribute to realizing a decarbonized society, and utilize regional resources to promote regional revitalization. Focusing on bamboo's high strength and rapid growth, this model project became the first in Japan to obtain a performance evaluation certificate for structural bamboo laminated timber. Once actual project implementation is decided, obtaining certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism under Article 20 of the Building Standards Act will enable construction using bamboo as structural material. Leveraging bamboo's strength allows even small components to function effectively. Therefore, this project devised a system for creating buildings by combining small components.
