概要 / Summary

CAFBLO（キャフブロ）は、木材や綿花などの非可食バイオマス由来のセルロースと酢酸から得られる酢酸セルロースに非フタル酸系可塑剤を配合し熱可塑性を付与したバイオマスプラスチックです。カトラリーやストロー、ボールペン、歯ブラシ、漁具、3Dプリンター造形など様々な用途で使用することができます。
マテリアルリサイクルが可能で、触感が良く高い透明性や抗菌性を有していることが特徴です。また、海洋生分解性を有する数少ないバイオマスプラスチックであり海洋プラスチックごみ問題の解決策の一つとしてCAFBLOの普及を進めています。

CAFBLO is a biomass plastic made by combining cellulose acetate—derived from non-edible biomass sources like wood and cotton—with non-phthalate plasticizers to impart thermoplastic properties. It can be used for various applications such as cutlery, straws, ballpoint pens, toothbrushes, fishing gear, and 3D printer models.
It is characterized by being recyclable, having a pleasant tactile feel, high transparency, and antibacterial properties. Furthermore, as one of the few biomass plastics with marine biodegradability, we are promoting the adoption of CAFBLO as a solution to the marine plastic waste problem.
