2024年春、MAISON SHIROはSHIROの暮らしを体感できる一棟貸しの宿泊施設として北海道長沼町にオープンしました。この建物は効率や入手しやすさといった従来の建築都合ではなく“森の都合”に合わせた建物づくりを目指し、建築資材となる木材は林業従事者から直接購入。柱や梁といった構造材だけではなく、見えない下地材や外壁、造作家具もすべて木材のみで建設。また、滞在中はお好きな製品を心ゆくまでお使いいただけるようパフュームやスキンケア製品をご用意。中でもスパイスオブライフのシャンプーやコンディショナーはオープンに先駆けてつくられた後、一般販売されました。パウダールームにはスキンケアシリーズの酒かす米ぬか化粧水やがごめ昆布美容液もあり、お試しいただけるようになっています。
In spring 2024, MAISON SHIRO opened in Naganuma Town, Hokkaido, as a whole-house rental accommodation where guests can experience the SHIRO lifestyle. This building was constructed not for conventional architectural considerations like efficiency or material availability, but to align with the needs of the forest. The timber used as building material was purchased directly from forestry workers. The structure was built entirely from wood—not just the visible structural elements like pillars and beams, but also the hidden framing, exterior walls, and custom-built furniture. During your stay, enjoy unlimited use of our curated products, including perfumes and skincare. Notably, the Spice of Life shampoo and conditioner were created specifically for the opening and later released for general sale. The powder room also features skincare items like our sake lees and rice bran lotion and our wakame seaweed serum, available for you to try.
