概要 / Summary

国営ひたち海浜公園は茨城県ひたちなか市に位置し、季節ごとに美しい花々が楽しめる人気のスポットです。春は350万本の青いネモフィラが4.2haの広大な「みはらしの丘」一面を覆い、澄んだ青空と海に溶け合込むような風景はまさに“絶景”です。一方、コキアは季節によって変化する色彩が魅力です。夏は鮮やかな緑である4万本のコキアも10月上旬になると少しずつ紅葉し始め、10月中下旬には真っ赤な紅葉となり「みはらしの丘」一面が赤一色の風景 “絶景”になります。公園にはこの２つの絶景以外にも四季折々の花々が楽しめ、国内外から毎年200万人の利用者に来ていただいています。今後も海外の人により楽しんでいただけるよう絶景風景の発信を行っていきます。

Hitachi Seaside Park is located in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and is a popular spot where visitors can enjoy beautiful flowers throughout the seasons. In spring, 3.5 million blue nemophila flowers cover the entire 4.2-hectare “Miharashi Hill,” creating a scene where they seem to blend into the clear blue sky and sea—truly a “spectacular view.” Meanwhile, kochia is captivating for its changing colors with the seasons. In summer, 40,000 kochia plants display vivid green foliage. By early October, they gradually begin to change color, turning a brilliant red by mid-to-late October. The entire Miharashi Hill then transforms into a sea of red, creating another breathtaking view. Beyond these two spectacular sights, the park offers seasonal flowers throughout the year, attracting approximately two million visitors annually from both Japan and abroad. We will continue to promote these stunning landscapes to ensure overseas visitors can fully enjoy them.
