「時の納屋」は、“主役は建物ではなく環境と景観”を掲げた、香川県さぬき市・大串半島のカフェです。駐車場からの石畳のスロープ「時の小径」を進むと、瀬戸内海と小豆島の景色が徐々に現れ、時間の流れを体感できる設計です。地元の食材を活かした「樽のおにぎりランチ」や軽食、旬の果実と和三盆のスイーツプレートなどが提供され、訪れる人の五感を満たします。かつて自生していたマツやススキを植え戻すことで、自然再生への取り組みも行われています。建築、食、物語、風景が一体となったこの場は、“心の中の過去・現在・未来をしまっておける場所”として、人々の記憶に寄り添い続ける癒しの空間です。

“The Barn of Time” is a cafe on the Ogushi Peninsula in Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture, where the philosophy is “the environment and scenery take center stage, not the building itself.” Following the stone-paved slope “Path of Time” from the parking lot, views of the Seto Inland Sea and Shodoshima Island gradually emerge, designed to let you experience the passage of time. It offers dishes like the “Barrel Rice Ball Lunch” featuring local ingredients, light snacks, and dessert plates with seasonal fruits and wasanbon sugar, satisfying visitors' senses. Efforts to restore nature are underway by replanting native pine trees and pampas grass. This space, where architecture, food, stories, and scenery merge, serves as a place to store the past, present, and future within one's heart—a healing space that continues to accompany people's memories.

・ダイナミックな景観に調和する象徴的な建物は、日本の神社仏閣を彷彿とさせる、やはり日本らしいサステナブルな木造建築であり、日常の騒々しさから離れ、何時間でも居られるような空間であると思った。
・自然と景観と建築がうまくハーモニーを奏でている取り組みだ。

・The iconic building, harmonizing with the dynamic landscape, is a sustainable wooden structure distinctly Japanese in character, reminiscent of traditional shrines and temples. It felt like a space where one could escape the daily clamor and linger for hours.
